Royal Paella

Ingredients

  • 250g long grain rice
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 400 g clams
  • 200 grams of squid pieces
  • 2 crushed tomatoes
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 250 grams of raw shrimp
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 10g paella spice mix
  • 50 cl chicken stock
  • 1 lemon
  • Salt / pepper

Recipe

  1. Heat a pan of clams to open them, then set aside.
  2. In the same pan, fry the peppers for 1 minute, set aside, then fry the chicken for 2 minutes on each side, then remove.
  3. Finally, fry the squid and shrimp pieces until brown, then set aside.
  4. Saute the onions with a spoonful of oil, then add the rice until it becomes translucent.
  5. Add pepper, squid, spices, chicken and pour in 40cl of chicken stock.
  6. Place the baking tray in the oven for 15 minutes at 200°C.
  7. After 15 minutes, add the shrimp, clams and their juices, and the remaining chicken stock.
  8. Lower the oven temperature to 180°C and put the pan back in the oven for 10 minutes.
  9. When removed from the oven, adjust the seasoning and squeeze in some lemon juice.

Tip: You can add chorizo ​​and chili to spice up your paella.
